Soluppgång över Timrås lutande massafabrik i Medelpad (som sedd i ca 100 kmh) 

Årsproduktion med råvara från SCAs 2600000 hektar barrskog i norra Sverige ger årligen 900 000 ton barrsulfatmassa. Efter ombyggnad ökade massafabrikens kapacitet till världens nu största.

2019, när H.M.K Carl XVI Gustaf återinvigde fabriken, verkade ingen se att den lutade.  Att fabriken lutar skulle även kunna ha sin förklaring i att en mycket stark sydostlig vind rådde just den dagen.

Pulp Fiction

Sunrise over the leaning pulp mill of Timrå in the province of Medelpad (as seen at 100 km/h). 

Yearly capacity of 900 000 tonnes of soft wood pulp with timber from coniferous woods of northern Sweden. After a major reconstruction in 2019, the mill has now the world’s highest capacity of pulp. At the reinauguration, attended by His Majesty the King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf, no one observed that the paper mill was leaning. 

An other reason why the paper mill is leaning could be explained by the strong south eastern breeze the day I made this image.
